Intro:
Your breath is the quickest portal back to peace. This 4-4-4-4 breath pattern (Box Breathing) can shift you from fight-or-flight into a state of calm in just one minute.
Ritual:
Inhale through your nose for 4 seconds.
Hold for 4 seconds.
Exhale slowly for 4 seconds.
Hold for 4 seconds.
Repeat for 4 rounds.
Why it works:
Box breathing regulates your nervous system, lowers cortisol, and signals to your body that you are safe.
Breath work has been a part of my daily ritual for years now try doing it first thing in the morning to let your body know you are awake and moving and ready to conquer your day
It’s helpful In a stressful situation too !!
